Beyond Curriculum

The holistic growth of students can be achieved only provided academic field is linked with co-curricular activities, games and sports, etc. To reduce the burden/stress of the school curriculum on children, students of every age group are inspired to participate in various activities of the school.

Co-curricular Activities

“Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence.

Robert Frost

Academics alone cannot shape a child’s personality; co-curricular activities are also very much essential for all-round development. Hence, our school motivates students to take part in literary and creative activities like Debate, Declamation, Creative writing, Recitation, Drawing, Poster making, Slogan writing, on-the-spot Painting, Theatre, etc.

Games & Sports

“The Battle of waterloo was won on the play-fields of Eton”.

Keeping in view the battle of waterloo or the apt phrase ‘A healthy mind in a healthy body’, the school’s Games & Sports club encourages students to play Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Hockey, Basketball and participate in Athletics, Kho-Kho, Yoga, and all types of competitions at Inter-House, Inter-School, District levels, etc.

Tours & Excursions

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page”.

–Augustine of Hippo

Travelling is educative and exciting indeed. To broaden the mental horizon of students through an exposure to culture, creed, linguistic alterations obviously different from what they see around them, the school organises tours and excursions from time to time to local and far off places, hill stations, places of historical and religious importance, museums and unique monuments, beaches, wildlife sancturies, etc.
